Why our business class fares beat the airline's own price
There are two price lists for every premium seat, and most travellers only ever see one.
The published fare is what the airline shows on its own website and what comparison engines aggregate. It is the retail price, and it is the number in the left-hand column of every table above.
The private fare is a separate, lower list — negotiated and consolidator rates the airlines release to registered trade partners to move premium inventory, on condition it is never published online. Identical airline, identical aircraft, identical flat bed, lounge and baggage. A different, lower price. That is the right-hand column, and that is the entire reason a specialist exists.

When to book for the biggest saving
Three levers move the price most on this route:
- Book 3–5 months ahead — premium cabins hold few seats and sell first. For Christmas and the New Year peak, make it 5–7 months.
- Travel in the shoulder seasons — March–May and September–November. May is typically the cheapest month of the year.

Is business class to Australia worth it?
It is a 22-hour journey. In economy you land having barely slept, and lose your first day — sometimes two — to exhaustion. In a flat bed you dine after take-off, sleep seven hours horizontal, and step off ready to go, effectively gaining two days of your holiday, one in each direction.
